It seems that Chinese phone manufacturer Huawei is going to announce it’s new flagship phone – the Ascend Mate 7. This Huawei Ascend Mate 7 review details how the new phone will most likely be announced at next month’s IFA trade conference, showing all its new hardware and software, including it’s astoundingly powerful 13 megapixel primary camera and decent 5 megapixel backup camera.
The new phone is rumored to come with Huawei’s new Emotion 3.0 interface along with dual SIM card support and Huawei’s new quad core processor. It is also rumored to be released in two models, with the second, more expensive model have more RAM and a clearer screen.

In a shocking move, the phone maker HTC has unveiled a new phone that will run on a Windows OS for half the price of the same model that is being run on Android.
The One M8 is the first phone the company has released with Windows in over 2 years and it is suspected that the phone is being subsidized by Microsoft.
The new phone also comes with a 24 month contract and is priced and will be around £60, around 50% cheaper than the Android version.

It seems Judge Koh, who presided over the Apple and Samsung trials, has ruled that Samsung do not have to pay $16million in lawyer fees to Apple. These fees were for trade dress claims that Apple made against Samsung in the first trial. Apple has a total of four of these claims against Samsung, dealing with many different kinds of technology.
